September 29th, 2024 - Patient and Kind

Scripture Passage:  1 Corinthians 13:4a

Spend time connecting, sharing food, and doing what it takes to make everyone feel safe and comfortable in the group.  (Practice Hospitality)

Questions

1.     Talk about how the way the message was done today.  Did it help or hinder in any way?

2.     Can you usually see when another person is feeling impatient?

3.     Can people usually tell when you are feeling impatient?

4.     Share one situation that has made (or regularly makes) you impatient.

5.     Share a situation where you find yourself remarkably relaxed and patient.

6.          Is kindness obvious? Is it pretty clear to you when someone is being kind and when they are not?

7.     Can you say in your own words how one grows in love?

8.     Can you simply decide to be more patient?

9.     Do you think of God as being patient with you? Does this help you grow in your patience with others?

10.   Are you growing in this area? Is there anything you want to share with the group about that challenge?

11.   Do you find that confession (honesty/vulnerability) helps you grow?
