Join us at 10 am Sunday morning via live-stream or in-person, or at any time throughout the week. Pastoral Intern Brady DeBoewr will present the next ‘mini series’ within the series “Caring Encounters” with a message entitled “Radical Forgiveness” looking at John chapter 8 verses 1-11.
Jesus shows his hospitality by extending radical forgiveness to a woman accused of adultery. What does radical forgiveness look like?

JOYFUL GIVING
This Sunday’s Collection is for our Budget and for: Cairn Christian School
UPCOMING OFFERING: November 20th A.M. – Smithville Christian High School is providing an authentically Christian education to teens from all over central Niagara. Smithville Christian High graduates are serving God and bringing shalom all over the world. Your gift will be used to keep tuition in check so that many families can have access to the exciting programs that enable our students to thrive. Thank-you for your part in keeping Christian education affordable at all levels.
Chaplaincy Sunday is Next Week, November 20 - Churches throughout the CRCNA are celebrating Chaplaincy Sunday on November 20. Search the website: crcna.org/Chaplaincy for great resources on how you can support and provide for these front-line workers.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Once again, as so often in the past, we at Grimsby Life Centre must thank you for your very generous donation to our work. We are not always able to see the results of the counselling we do, but we do know through God’s grace, lives are being changed, hearts encouraged and families strengthened. We couldn’t do it without you! Sincerely, The Team at Grimsby Life Centre
World Hunger: Thank you for your support! - Last week, congregations across North America supported World Renew's efforts to end hunger: Thank you! It's never too late to learn, pray, or give when it comes to bringing an end to hunger in our Creator's world. Find out more at worldrenew.ca/world-hunger
IF and HOW -
IF you are considering a year-end gift to Cairn Christian School or Smithville Christian High School, here’s an idea you should consider. HOW you give your gift can add to your gift’s impact, while also making a big difference on your income tax bill.
IF you have publicly-traded securities that have gained in value over the time you have owned them, using these to give to our schools can be a great idea! HOW does this work? If you bought shares for $1,000 and they are now valued at $5,000 – they are subject to Capital Gains tax if you convert them to cash first.
IF you transfer them directly to a charity, you will give a gift that cost you $1,000, but you will get a donation receipt for a $5,000 gift (for many, reducing their taxes by approx. $2,000)! And because the school doesn’t pay capital gains taxes when they convert them to cash, it gets the full $5,000 in funds to support its important work! HOW can you do this? Is it complicated? No! We can make it straightforward: contact Kevin Huinink at Cairn Christian School (khuinink@cairnchristianschool.ca), Ted Harris at Smithville Christian High School (tharris@smithvillechristian.ca), or Kevin teBrake at our Foundation (ktebrake@christianschoolfoundation.ca) to learn more.
We recommend initiating this type of gift soon to gain from the tax advantage in 2022.
