MOUNTAINVIEW NEWS

Join us at 10 am Sunday morning via live-stream or in-person, or at any time throughout the week. Pastor Erick will present a a message entitled “Let’s Go…” based on chapter 10 of the Bible book Hebrews.

Hebrews 10:19-25 is a great passage to get us ready to enter September and the new ministry season. These verses are a summary of the book of Hebrews and the Christian Life. There are three facts given about Jesus that lead to three acts we are called to engage.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 is not that far away (sad, but true)!  We are hoping to "Celebrate the Garden" in that service and you are invited to bring any and all garden produce: flowers, honey, eggs, whatever you grow at home.  Bring it to the worship service on Labour Day weekend, to the front of the stage for display.  The hope and prayer is that we see a picture of how God blesses our work as we see the beautiful produce and fruits of our summer labour. It would be wonderful to share it all after the service too!  You take some of my kale, and I take some of your flowers!  Reciprocity and celebration of the goodness of God's earth.  Thanks for your participation, Ruth Ann

Dear Friends at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, Thank you for your recent gift to Redeemer University. We are very grateful for your faithful support. During this summer season we are completing our planning and preparation for the next academic year. Based on completed applications and deposits received to date we expect to welcome about 1100 students this fall. This represents another significant increase in enrolment. The new Charis Live and Learn Centre has provided the additional classroom and residence space we need to accommodate this growing student body. Your support has and continues to make it possible for us to help equip this growing group of young women and men for lives of service wherever God calls them. Please continue to pray for Redeemer University, for the faculty and staff as they prepare, and for the students as they make plans for the upcoming fall semester. Continued blessings on your ministry as you serve those who have been placed along your path. Sincerely,
Brian Verheul Redeemer University, Donor Relations Office
