MOUNTAINVIEW NEWS
Join us at 10 am Sunday morning via live-stream or in-person, or at any time throughout the week. Pastor Erick will present a a message entitled “A Bit of a Map” based on the book of 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 13-18.
The people in Thessalonica were very interested in how things end. We often are as well. Knowing the map of a city from that time will help us also understand the map of the end that Paul gives.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 is not that far away (sad, but true)! We are hoping to "Celebrate the Garden" in that service and you are invited to bring any and all garden produce: flowers, honey, eggs, whatever you grow at home. Bring it to the worship service on Labour Day weekend, to the front of the stage for display. The hope and prayer is that we see a picture of how God blesses our work as we see the beautiful produce and fruits of our summer labour. It would be wonderful to share it all after the service too! You take some of my kale, and I take some of your flowers! Reciprocity and celebration of the goodness of God's earth. Thanks for your participation, Ruth Ann
