Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures for Mountainview CRC

When you hear the fire alarm sound:

- Exit the building in a calm, organized way, as directed
- Once out of the building, meet in the East Parking Lot.
- The last person out of each room must make sure all windows are closed and the door is closed behind them.

Pastor, Head Usher *

The Pastor or Head Usher will go to the front of the sanctuary, command control, and call out the evacuation procedure to the congregation.

Elders & Deacons *

The Elders & Deacons (on and off duty) will assist in evacuating the Sanctuary.

Ushers *

The ushers (on and off duty) will immediately go to Education Wing, rooms #10, 11 & 12 and assist in getting the babies, toddlers, and children out of the building. Once complete, the ushers will make sure that all the other Sunday School rooms are empty.

Kids@Mountainview *

The leaders from Rooms 10, 11 & 12 with assistance from the ushers, will evacuate the children out of the rooms to the Back/Upper parking lot.

Teachers lead the children out of the classrooms and out to the Back/Upper parking lot at the rear of the church. Be sure to make sure all windows are closed and close your classroom door behind you as you leave.
