Ephesus is amazing. There is no longer a functioning city but it was once the next major city after Rome. The theatre could seat 25,000 and the stadium 40,000.  There were flush toilets there over 1900 years ago.  

Timothy was pastor there, John likely wrote Revelation there, and the letter to the Ephesians spoke into this community.  This major city is also a biblical big deal. 

Acts 19 tells of Paul in Ephesus. We heard this read in the theatre with the context of what we saw and learned making it come to life. There are many passages that we are rethinking and seeing with fresh eyes. More on that in future preaching/ teaching. For now, know that we are deeply blessed to be in this place with these people at this time.
