1. So, after 9 messages on 1 Corinthians 13, what is “just love”?
2. Pastor Erick suggests that verse 12b (know in part, know fully, and fully known) is a parallel with vs 13a (faith, hope, and love). Are you convinced? Why or why not?
3. Share a time when you were a “know-it-all”, perhaps without good cause.
4. How do you deal with the fact that prophecy, tongues and knowledge (Word things) will cease? What will that look like?
5. Can you put into words the difference between “faith” and “the faith”? How do you see them being connected? Is it contrast or cohesion or somewhere in between?
6. Do you believe that there is hope for change in people? What are you doing to live out that belief?
7. Can you put into words how “love” and “being fully known” connect?
8. Who knows you best? How fully known do you feel that you are?
9. Do you have any spiritual practices in which you allow God to look you in the eyes, to see you fully? Can you describe what that is like or what it might be like?
10. How do you plan to continue to grow in the way of love?
