Scripture Passages:  I Corinthians12:13b; John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8-10; 1John 4:7-12

Questions

1.     What was your response when you heard we are doing an 8 week series on love from 1 Corinthians 13?

2.     Did the first message do anything to change your response? 

3.     Can you see the difference between the two ways of saying “just love”?  Does this help you see where this is going? 

4.     Would you agree that the other thing we tend to think is needed along with love is rules?  If not, what else might fit there? 

5.     Did the biblical material presented connecting love and law convince you that love is enough? 

6.     How many Greek words for love can you remember/define?  How many types or aspects of love can you name
(even if you don’t know a Greek word for them)? 

7.     What do you do with the line in 1 John 4 “whoever loves is born of God and knows God”? 

8.     Can you describe a time when you saw God’s love being made complete through human love? 

9.     Pastor Erick presented some ideas at the end of the message about our fear of a lack of clarity and our fear of love itself.
