Oct.  3rd A.M. – Grimsby Life Centre is a ministry that is committed to providing help for the physical, social, and mental well-being of those in crisis. This loving care is demonstrated through on-going counseling, support and care. All services are free and confidential, and we depend solely on donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and fund-raising events. Thank-you for your support and prayers.

Oct. 10th A.M. – Benevolence:  Your contribution to Mountainview’s Benevolent Fund provides assistance for those in need in our church family and in our local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of Benevolence.
Thanksgiving (No Service) – GBF Foodbank Your contribution will help provide people who are at a disadvantage to obtain food, clothing, and emergency assistance.  GBF Community Services assists individuals and households in meeting their basic needs. Through our programs, we have been helping the Grimsby community in achieving self-sufficiency for more than 56 years.This care is provided by donors and volunteers.  Please give generously to help those who are in need in your community.

Oct. 17th A.M. – Rose City Kids:  For 10 years Rose City Kids has been actively reaching children in Welland’s low income communities. We launched our first program in 2008 with just a small group of volunteers and children. Since then, Rose City Kids has been blessed with growth and success with over 500 children and 120 volunteers actively involved in our programs. Through our diverse programs, we see hope restored lives changed, relationships built, physical needs met, and overall we see the love of Jesus in action in our community. What we offer: Saturday afternoon children programs, home visits (we visit every child in their home twice a month), junior leadership training, youth programs, after school tutoring,  youth drop in center, summer connect nights and summer camp opportunities. Oct. 24th A.M. – Colin & Kathleen Wassenaar, serving with Engineering Ministries Int’l (EMI) in Phnom Penh- Cambodia - EMI is a nonprofit Christian development organization made up of architects, engineers, surveyors, and construction managers who use their skills to serve the least reached worldwide. We design hospitals, schools, water systems, and many other facilities that enable our Christian ministry partners to fulfill their calling and transform their communities. Oct. 31st A.M. – Calvin Seminary provides theological training for ordained and un-ordained ministry positions for Christian Reformed Churches in North America as well as leaders for Christ’s church around the world.  They also evaluate candidates for ministry, offer continuing education for pastors, and seminars for office bearers.  Calvin Theological Seminary advises synod and is a theological resource for all denominational agencies and churches.
