Offering Schedule for June 2018
OFFERING SCHEDULE FOR JUNE 2018
June 3rd A.M. – Shalom Manor & Gardens is a special Christian, non-profit long-term care home and retirement centre, serving seniors mostly of Dutch descent who belong to the community of Reformed faiths. Limited government funding does not allow the services our seniors require that meet our expectations and standards. Your gifts will enhance immediate resident care, programs, and debt load.
P.M. – Smithville Christian High School is providing an authentically Christian education to teens from all over central Niagara. Smithville Christian High graduates are serving God and bringing shalom all over the world. Your gift will be used to keep tuition in check so that many families can have access to the exciting programs that enable our students to thrive. Thank-you for your part in keeping Christian education affordable at all levels.
June 10th A.M. – Church Support Ministries (CSM) - Aboriginal Ministry: As a denomination, we are committed to meeting the needs of people doing local ministry; listening better and hearing more from our churches; and following the leading of God in the work we do together. The congregational services ministries seek to partner with your church and help you partner with your community and other churches as you respond to God's call to go out and love.
The Aboriginal Ministry is made up of a national committee (Canadian Aboriginal Ministry Committee), three Urban Aboriginal Ministries, and a Justice and Reconciliation Mobilizer, each using their strengths to support healing and reconciliation between Aboriginal peoples and non-Aboriginal people in Canada. It is rooted in a recognition of our Creator’s love for all creation and in the understanding that we all have gifts to offer one another.
P.M. – Resonate Global Mission: The world is at our doorstep. Let’s resonate mission in our neighbourhood and around the world. The Christian Reformed Church has a rich history of sending missionaries, planting churches, engaging students through campus ministry and international schools, and a passion for fulfilling the great commission. We are excited about continuing this work as Resonate Global Mission! Now we are joining with God on mission both here in North America and around the globe. People all over the world are hungry to hear about the saving grace of Jesus Christ! Together we can reach across cultural barriers and forge partnerships within new communities of faith. Thank you for all your prayers and support.
June 17th A.M. – Benevolence: Your contribution to the Benevolent Fund provides assistance for the needs of our church family and the local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. As our church grows the needs within increase and become more varied. Please continue to support our ministry of benevolence.
