OFFERING SCHEDULE FOR MARCH 2018

March 4th A.M. –  World Renew, Canadian Foodgrains Bank Sunday! - As Christians, we are called to love and care for our brothers and sisters in need around the world. In response to this call, World Renew works through CFGB to provide food and other essential assistance following disasters. We also stay for the long-term to help people rebuild their homes and lives. We have seen that even the smallest of these acts of love can plant new seeds of hope in the hearts of disaster survivors. On March 4th, please give generously so that World Renew can replenish its CFGB account and continue to sow seeds of hope wherever there is need around the world. Your contributions regularly receive a 4:1 match from the Canadian government and are further leveraged by the support of other CFGB member organizations.

P.M. – Church Support Ministries (CSM) – Race Relations is mandated by synod "to design, organize, and implement programs that will assist the denomination, churches, and members in eliminating the causes and effects of racism within the body of believers and throughout the world.” Because there is a need for leaders and their congregations to have more effective ministry in the diverse communities they serve, there is also a need to have assistance in becoming culturally intelligent. The Office of Race Relations offers the resources and tools to develop this capacity.

March 11th A.M. – Benevolence:  Your contribution to the Benevolent Fund provides assistance for the needs of our church family and the local community.  These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling.  As our church grows the needs within increase and become more varied.  Please continue to support our ministry of benevolence.

P.M. – Calvin Seminary provides theological training for ordained and un-ordained ministry positions for Christian Reformed Churches in North America as well as leaders for Christ’s church around the world.  They also evaluate candidates for ministry, offer continuing education for pastors, and seminars for office bearers.  Calvin Theological Seminary advises synod and is a theological resource for all denominational agencies and churches.

.

March 18th A.M. – Synodical Administrative Services (formerly known as Denominational Services) provides funds for synodical expenses and offices, the Board of Trustees, and general administration of the CRCNA.  It also serves the church by initiating, designing, organizing, and implementing various programs.

P.M.-  Back To God Ministries International is the media ministry of the CRCNA. It proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through indigenous teams in people’s “heart languages” using the web, radio, television, phone, print, and other media. It opens doors for salvation and discipleship, broadcasting the gospel in otherwise closed regions.  BTGMI aired its first radio program in 1939. Today, we are reaching people in almost 200 countries and 10 major languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

March 25th A.M. – Redeemer University College is a Christian undergraduate university offering programs leading to Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees. From its Hamilton, Ontario campus, Redeemer has prepared graduating classes — the next generation of Christian leaders — for more than 30 years. Redeemer students are being shaped by the Reformed Christian commitment to see faith woven through all aspects of learning and life. Across the world, from the classroom to the convocation stage to careers and churches, our faculty, students and alumni are making an impact.

P.M. – Resonate Missionary Support – John & Anne Span (David):  John & Anne are your partners in ministry in Interserve Canada.  They have returned from Egypt, but continue their ministry of teaching, writing and preaching in order to train many workers for effective outreach.  Please support them as they train and guide others to go out and serve. John & Anne thank you for your prayers and support.

March 30th A.M. (Good Friday) – Grimsby Life Centre is a ministry that is committed to providing help for the physical, social, and mental well-being of those in crisis.  This loving care is demonstrated through on-going counseling, support and care.  All services are free and confidential, and we depend solely on donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and fund-raising events.  Thank-you for your support and prayers.
