Offering Schedule for September 2022

September 4th A.M. – Rose City KidsFor 10 years Rose City Kids has been actively reaching children in Welland’s low income communities. We launched our first program in 2008 with just a small group of volunteers and children. Since then, Rose City Kids has been blessed with growth and success with over 500 children and 120 volunteers actively involved in our programs. Through our diverse programs, we see hope restored lives changed, relationships built, physical needs met, and overall we see the love of Jesus in action in our community. What we offer: Saturday afternoon children programs, home visits (we visit every child in their home twice a month), junior leadership training, youth programs, after school tutoring, youth drop in center, summer connect nights and summer camp opportunities. IMPACT ENCOURAGE INFLUENCE INSTILL.

September 11th A.M. – BenevolenceYour contribution to Mountainview’s Benevolent Fund provides assistance for those in need in our church family and in our local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of Benevolence.

September 18th A.M. – Resonate Global Mission is continuing their partnership with churches in Canada and the US to plant churches, do campus ministry, train and equip pastors, and develop future leaders. They continue to send missionaries overseas, proclaiming the Gospel, and forging lasting partnerships. In addition to this ongoing work, they are tackling new opportunities for ministry. Here in North America, we need experience in international ministry to help churches effectively reach across cultural barriers and forge partnerships within new communities of faith. In other nations, we need expertise in church planting and campus ministry to help people in every nation discover God’s plan for their church, community, and life. With your prayers and financial support, we will be able to equip all our churches for ministry and join together with what God is already doing around the world.

September 25th A.M. – Congregational Ministries – Abuse Awareness Sunday: As a denomination, we are committed to meeting the needs of people doing local ministry; listening better and hearing more from our churches; and following the leading of God in the work we do together. The congregational services ministries seek to partner with your church and help you partner with your community and other churches as you respond to God's call to go out and love. Each of our ministries addresses an important part of the ministry areas the CRC has identified as our collective calling: Faith Formation, Gospel Proclamation and Worship, Mercy and Justice, and Servant Leadership.

Safe Church Ministry:  Safe Church Ministry equips congregations in abuse awareness, prevention, and response. We help build communities where the value of each person is honored; where people are free to worship and grow free from abuse; and where abuse has occurred, the response is compassion and justice that fosters healing.
