Offering Schedule for June 2020
June 7th – Upper Deck Ministries (Lincoln): The Upper Deck Youth Centre seeks to reach out to the youth of our community. The purpose of this centre is to provide a place where community young people can find practical life care and refuge and be introduced to relationships with Christian adults. Our hope is that through these friendships, some would desire a relationship with Jesus Christ and learn to walk with Him! Please give generously to this local cause.
June 14th – Benevolence: Your contribution to the Benevolent Fund provides assistance for the needs of our church family and the local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of benevolence.
June 21st – Church Support Ministries (CSM) – As a denomination, we are committed to meeting the needs of people doing local ministry; listening better and hearing more from our churches; and following the leading of God in the work we do together. The congregational services ministries seek to partner with your church and help you partner with your community and other churches as you respond to God's call to go out and love. Indigenous Ministry: is made up of a national committee (Canadian Indigenous Ministry Committee), three Urban Indigenous Ministries, and a Justice and Reconciliation Mobilizer, each using their strengths to support healing and reconciliation between Indigenous peoples and non-Indigenous people in Canada. It is rooted in a recognition of our Creator’s love for all creation and in the understanding that we all have gifts to offer one another.
