Children’s Pastor – October 26th, 2022

On Sunday, November 13 we will be commissioning our new Children’s Ministry Pastor, Kristy MacDougall.  We are excited to have Pastor Kristy join our staff team.  She will be starting her work among us at that time and eventually moving to Grimsby to be part or the Mountainview ministry and community.

Kristy gives the following by way of introduction:

“I am so honoured to be the Children's Pastor at Mountainview.   As Jesus said, "let the children come to me."  I believe Jesus loves children, embraces them, and values them.  I have been working with children for over 15 years.  It gives me great joy to see them receive Jesus as Lord, and Saviour and choose Him as their Guide.  In addition, I am a huge fan of parents!  Your service to your children is an invaluable blessing to them and warms the heart of God.  I love to learn and completed the Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry Program, Certification as a Spiritual Director and am continuing in further education.  I am an ordained pastor through the Minister Network of Canada.  I love to swim and am a certified swim teacher!  My favorite food is chocolate (any kind)!  I also like a nice cup of tea, movies, and music.  I look forward to ministering with you!!”

We are hoping to have as much of the Sunday morning “Kids at Mountainview” running as possible by the time Kristy arrives so that she doesn’t have to start over.  To that end, thanks to those who have stepped in to help out and for all those who will yet do so.  Let’s welcome Pastor Kristy and help her thrive in the shaping of our children’s ministry.
