April 3rd - Good Friday

Join us Friday evening at 7 pm in person or online. We conclude our Lent Series with a Tenebrae Service of Shadows.

“Tenebrae” is a prolonged meditation on Christ’s suffering. The power of silence and darkness suggests the drama of this momentous event. As candles are extinguished, lights are dimmed, and music is reduced, we ponder the depth of Christ’s suffering and death. We remember the cataclysmic nature of his sacrifice with silence and the sound of the strepitus. During the service we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Pastor Erick will lead the service. “There are so many characters in the drama of Good Friday: Pilate and his wife, Barabbas, Simon of Cyrene, the Centurion and Joseph of Arimethea are identified.  And then there are the soldiers, the two others on crosses, the sponge-bearer and the holy people raised from the dead, not to mention the male and female followers of Jesus.  They all have a response.  How do you respond to the crucifixion of Jesus?”

April 5th - Easter Sunday

Join us Easter Sunday morning at 10 am in person or online. Pastoral Care Jolene Veenstra will lead us in an Easter Sunday Celebration Service with a message entitled "Christ is Risen!?" Looking at the book of Luke chapter 24 verses 36-44.

You know what's really surprising? Resurrection.
During the service we will have the opportunity to celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
