Join us Sunday morning at 10 am or anytime throughout the week. This Sunday Pastor Erick will present a message entitled “Taming the Tongue”. He will be taking a look at Matthew 5:21-22 as well as a number of other passages throughout the bible.
As we consider abuse prevention this year, we are going to look at an area where we all are in danger of hurting others: our use of words. The Bible has much to say about the danger of how we speak to one another and much encouragement for beautiful speech of worship and blessing.

Next week Sunday, October 8 we will focus our worship on gratitude and thanks. I would love this service to include your words of thanks, your words of gratitude to God, your prayers of "Thank you God." So please, send me your reasons for gratitude - the trees, the joy of a new great-grandchild, a new friendship, a healthy body - whatever it is! Assistance Needed (KidsCamp Family) - I am hoping to find someone who has experience in a support role with special needs youth, like my son Ethan (preferably with an education background). Ethan is 13 and starting high school this September. We previously had the steady help of an EA from our church (Forestview) but her life situation has changed and I am forced to widen my search. Commitmen: 6-7 hours/wk, split between Wed and Thurs, 6:30-9:30pm. Pay is for time and travel within reason; amount determined by education and experience.
