MOUNTAINVIEW NEWS

Join us Sunday morning at 10 am or anytime throughout the week. Pastoral Intern Brady DeBoer will present the first message in a 3-Part series on the book of Daniel. He will be focusing on Daniel chapter 1

Part 1 - Daniel and his three friends are taken from their homes and brought to Babylon where they are forced to learn a whole new life. Has God given up on them? We will also be celebrating Holy Communion in the service.

LET’S BUILD SOME COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS!

STAR WORDS - Remember back in January you all received a Star Word at the first service of 2024?   We are hearing little bits and stories that these words are resonating and that some of you are paying attention to how God might be speaking through this word in your life!  This is wonderful!   Now that we are almost halfway through 2024 I wanted to encourage you to continue to pay attention to how your word (and God) is showing up - and please let us know these stories so we can share along the way - either through a written blog or even in a Sunday morning service.   Email Ruth Ann or Erick if you have a story to share!

NewGround - Thanks to our supporters' prayers and generosity, NewGround has been cultivating community impact across Canada for almost 50 years! Last year, Diaconal Ministries received applications to the program totalling over $90,000. Because Christian Reformed Churches held offerings and individual donors gave generously, we were able to say "Yes!" to more churches longing to share God's love in their local community. Thank you for your prayers and support! You are helping us and our partners make a difference. Together we can continue to help transform communities for God's glory! To donate once or monthly, visit our website (diaconalministries.com/donate), send an e-transfer to dmc@crcna.org OR donate through your CRC church. Questions? Visit diaconalministries.com/newground and/or email our fundraising coordinator, Kathrin, at kveenstra@crcna.org.
