MOUNTAINVIEW NEWS

The word Tenebrae is Latin for "shadows" or "darkness."

On Good Friday we will follow Jesus on his darkening journey of last supper, betrayal, denial, trial, crucifixion, death and burial, paying attention to the proclamation of the guard "surely this was the Son of God."

Join us at 7 pm, online or in-person. Or watch the service recording anytime throughout the week.

Our Easter celebration will be a recognition of the new life  we receive in Jesus' resurrection.  We will unbury the alleluia and sing it out.  We will journey with Jesus on the way to Emmaus.  We will recognize and receive him in the breaking of the bread of communion.

Join us at in-person or online at 10 am or watch anytime throughout the week. Pastoral Intern, Brady DeBoer will be presenting the message. He will be focusing on the book of Luke chapter 24, verse 13-35

A few Notes from the office…

·         The Office will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.  Wishing you all a Blessed Easter Weekend!

·         Thursday AM Deadline for news/info/ads/prayer requests for Newsletter, Email and Church Family:  We have always had a deadline of Thursday but are reinforcing that announcements and requests be made by Thursday first thing going forward. Any prayer requests or concerns that come up after that can still be shared with the office/an elder/the pastor and will be communicated wherever they are needed but not “in print”.
