Join us Sunday morning at 10 am or anytime throughout the week. This Sunday Pastor Erick will present the second of a 4-part series on Power, looking at “The Power of Weakness.” He will be looking at 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 1-10.
Foundational to understanding power is recognizing the confusing biblical idea that power comes through weakness. Jesus exemplified this on the cross and Paul experienced it in ministry. How do we take this difficult teaching and apply it to our lives today?
LET’S BUILD SOME COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS!
JOYFUL GIVING
UPCOMING OFFERING: January 21st A.M. – Global Aid Network (GAiN) – Tyler Couperus: Together we are revealing hope by sharing God’s unconditional love and restoring life by demonstrating the gospel through compassionate action to those who are living in poverty, injustice and crisis around the world. “That is where I come in. I work with GAiN full-time. In order to successfully fulfill our mission as GAiN, we need staff who can lay the groundwork, and do project management to empower staff in the field as well as our local partners. My role is managing our disaster relief programs and our preparedness. I collaborate with our partners worldwide, particularly those in our Disaster Relief offices. My position includes training new volunteers at our DART team training, as well as potential field visits, and ongoing conversation with our project partners about how we can work better together. Thank you for partnering with me in your time, prayers and encouragement, as well as finances so that I can fulfill my kingdom calling. I have been blessed by the church throughout my life; in each church we have celebrated together, mourned together and supported each other. I look forward to growing that community.” Tyler C.
