Offering Details for August 2024

August 4th – Classical Ministry Shares: Classis Niagara is a regional group of CRC churches located in the Niagara Peninsula. We are a gathering of established congregations & missional expressions, sharing in the larger ministry of the CRCNA. Classical Ministry Shares support Classis work which includes: Shalom Chaplaincy, Brock Campus Ministry, Niagara International Student Ministry, The Table, The Bridge (Niagara Falls), Dinner Church, local seminary students preparing for ministry, and they also help to support the leadership development, planning, and oversight connected to these ministries. Help us with your donation to encourage, equip, and empower churches and ministries in Niagara to engage God’s people in mission!

August 11th – Shalom Manor & Gardens is a special Christian, non-profit long-term care home and retirement centre, serving seniors mostly of Dutch descent who belong to the community of Reformed faiths.  Limited government funding does not allow the services our seniors require that meet our expectations and standards.  Your gifts will enhance immediate resident care, programs, and debt load.

August 18th – ReFrame Ministries (formerly Back to God Ministries Int’l): is the cross-cultural media ministry of the CRCNA. It proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through indigenous teams in people’s “heart languages” using the web, radio, television, phone, print, and other media. It opens doors for salvation and discipleship, broadcasting the gospel in otherwise closed regions.  BTGMI aired its first radio program in 1939. Today, we are reaching people in almost 200 countries and 10 major languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

August 25th –- Smithville Christian High School is providing an authentically Christian education to teens from all over central Niagara.  Smithville Christian High graduates are serving God and bringing shalom all over the world. Your gift will be used to keep tuition in check so that many families can have access to the exciting programs that enable our students to thrive. Thank-you for your part in keeping Christian education affordable at all levels.
