Offering Details for June 2023

June 4th P.M. – Shalom Manor & Gardens is a special Christian, non-profit long-term care home and retirement centre, serving seniors mostly of Dutch descent who belong to the community of Reformed faiths. Limited government funding does not allow the services our seniors require that meet our expectations and standards. Your gifts will enhance immediate resident care, programs, and debt load.

June 11th A.M. – Benevolence: Your contribution to Mountainview’s Benevolent Fund provides assistance for those in need in our church family and in our local community. These include basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and schooling. A church and community of our size has many varied needs within it. Please continue to support our ministry of Benevolence.

June 18th A.M. – Congregational Ministries (formerly CSM): As a denomination, we are committed to meeting the needs of people doing local ministry; listening better and hearing more from our churches; and following the leading of God in the work we do together. The congregational services ministries seek to partner with your church and help you partner with your community and other churches as you respond to God's call to go out and love. Each of our ministries addresses an important part of the ministry areas the CRC has identified as our collective calling: Faith Formation, Gospel Proclamation and Worship, Mercy and Justice, and Servant Leadership.

Indigenous Ministries of Canada: The Indigenous Ministry is made up of a national committee (Canadian Indigenous Ministry Committee), three Urban Indigenous Ministries, and a Justice and Reconciliation Mobilizer, each using their strengths to support healing and reconciliation between Indigenous peoples and non-Indigenous people in Canada. It is rooted in a recognition of our Creator’s love for all creation and in the understanding that we all have gifts to offer one another.

June 25th A.M. – MINISTRY PROMISE … End Of Year:  A fiscal year-end offering for our Ministry Promise. Your contributions empower us GROW in relationship with God and each other, and GO, sharing Christ’s love in words and actions to our community, through programs such as Coffee Break, GEMS, Cadets, Small Groups, Kids Camp, Friendship and more...  It also allows us to keep our facilities in good operating condition, and prepare a plan for some major capital expenditures for a now 20+ year-old building. Your gift will enable us to meet our financial commitments.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CHANGE FROM WHAT WAS PREVIOUSLY POSTED
DUE TO THE NEW FISCAL YEAR END
