Now pay attention to how God shows up
1. In person
 he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day,

2. Seeking us out
 “Where are you?”

Slide 7

3. Curious
  “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

4. With restorative practice
“What is this you have done?”

“Because you have done this...”

5. Full of grace and truth
And I will put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head,
    and you will strike his heel.

6. Punished with a promise
...you will give birth to children
...you will eat food from it
    all the days of your life

7. Clothing improvements
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

8. Cut-off from compounding
 He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.

We anticipate Jesus showing up among us full of grace and truth, asking restorative questions, clothing us in righteousness, being God and being with us.
