We want Mountainview Kids Camp to be a highlight for everyone's summer, and this means understanding what will help your camper and our staff. Campers who require EA support
with specific needs are invited to our May Meet & Greet session.

This Meet & Greet is a time for us to learn more about the support needed to help make your child’s time at camp a success. These needs might include support with eating, toileting, mobility, attention, sensory or behavioural challenges. This is also a time for families to decide if Mountainview Camp can provide what you need for your child.

Following the Meet-and-Greet, we will together determine if we can provide the care required and you will be invited to complete a Camper Support Registration form for the agreed upon weeks. Note every effort will be made to accommodate the weeks of your choice, but due to high demand for support and limited spaces, we are only able to offer 1 or 2 weeks of Camper Support per child each summer.

Why the month of May? Our camp relies on funding from Canada Summer Jobs Grant which is typically released in the late spring. When we are equipped with the funding and learn from families about the support needs, we are able to determine how many campers we can welcome for the summer. Thanks for your understanding with this intentional process.

Important note: Mountainview Camp hires capable teenagers and post secondary students as camp counselors and support staff. We do our best to prepare them for their roles, but keep in mind they are not professional support staff by trade or certification.
